The NCAPD is a group of professionals committed to the dental health care of children, adolescents and special needs patients. Through patient care, education, research, advocacy, and communication our Academy seeks to enhance the dental health of children in our state and nation.

NCAPD Oral Health Service Award

The NCAPD is now accepting nominations for the NCAPD Oral Health Service Award. This prestigious annual award was created to acknowledge an individual for outstanding achievements in pediatric oral health in North Carolina, including exceptional individuals who have a strong record of advocacy for children’s oral health in the state. The nominee must be a North Carolina resident. Among others, nominees might include dentists, physicians, nurses, hygienists, dental assistants, teachers, lobbyists, researchers, and administrators.
